I have been taking a journey called Project 137. It is a 137 day project where you spend a few minutes everyday reflecting on your life and your day. The goal is to be more accepting of the life you are living and getting the most out of your life. It came at the perfect time. With two kiddos under 3 it is soooooo easy to get caught in the idea of there is so much to do and not enough time and MISS LIFE. I am a planner and a list maker. Before I started Project 137, I would find myself moving through the day just to get things done. Now I try to take a minute to enjoy putting my feet in the grass and looking at the clouds, dancing and being silly or getting chalk all over me when I draw on the sidewalk with the kids.
I am on day 20 of my Project 137 journey. It’s been a great experience so far and has truly helped me to love well, live fully, let go deeply and make a difference.
Check out Patti Digh’s post on why she started Project 137 – http://www.37days.com/2012/08/project-137.html
p.s. I love the idea of a “new morning mantra” from Sharon from Momof6.com.
What have you done lately to live life more positively?
